Just putting this out there... Lemmy.world is obnoxious

I blocked the lemmy.world instance for a few and, now that I have removed that block, I can see again why I did it in the first place.

This morning, the only half-cocked, half-assed, super rude interactions I've noticed are exclusively from lemmy.world. I started checking out lemmy there (after my lemm.ee account needed replacing) and thought it was really amazing and exciting and playful and fun. Over time, I've read what others have had to say criticizing it and realized they're right, it's just the masses are asses and it's blatantly obvious there and especially when they come here.

It's a bummer but not as much a bummer as giving up on reddit.

In summary, the smaller lemmy instances have been a joy and piefed is filled with really nice folks too. I don't see any reason to suffer jerks anywhere anymore. I'm too old for that shit anyhow.
