Hair stuff again (+dutasteride)

After my parents forced me to cut my hair early during the summer, my hair has been taking a really long time to grow back. I am also finding strands of broken hairs all the time when I wash my hair or comb it. Idk what is going on. I'm using conditioners and hair oil. And I don't wash my hair everyday.

Would taking dutasteride help with hair volume and growth? Does anyone have any good experiences with it?
